Cultivated Poultry
Cultivated Poultry (also called cultivated, cell-based & precision-fermented) involves producing chicken, duck, and other poultry meat by growing animal cells in controlled bioreactors instead of raising and slaughtering birds. Scientists cultivate muscle cells to create meat that resembles traditional poultry while potentially reducing environmental impacts and animal farming needs. Some cultivated chicken products have already received limited regulatory approval in countries such as Singapore and the United States. Learn more about Cultivated Poultry.
