I have always been deeply curious about the natural world—animals, plants, fungi, and of course, us humans and our complex relationships with all living things on Earth. I love this planet and can’t imagine a more beautiful place. My passion lies in learning about Earth’s diverse inhabitants, sharing that knowledge, and connecting with others who feel the same.

I believe knowledge is power, and there’s an incredible wealth of information we can exchange. In this weblog, I follow my passion for nature with a strong focus on science. Facts are the cornerstone of everything I write, regardless of whether they align with my personal beliefs or emotions.

When something piques my curiosity, I dive deep into research, much like conducting a literature review, and I share those findings here. I also use AI tools like ChatGPT to help organize information, explore different perspectives, and assist with accuracy. Although I’m not currently working in academia, I do my best to fact-check and cite all my sources reliably. If you share my passion and enjoy this content, I invite you to join me on this journey.

From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by the “how” and “why” of the world around us. Biology, anatomy, behavior, ethology, and evolution captivated me. I studied Dentistry, a field I loved for its blend of art and science, but it wasn’t enough to fulfill my desire to explore the broader mysteries of nature. During my studies, I was deeply involved in research, which taught me the value of scientific methods and evidence-based conclusions.

In my homeland of Iran, I founded a dog rescue center, where I quickly learned how important comprehensive knowledge is when intervening in nature. Without it, even well-intentioned efforts can cause more harm than good. This experience inspired me to expand my understanding of animals, leading me to Scotland to study veterinary medicine. While I gained invaluable knowledge, I realized that my curiosity extended far beyond treating animals. My passion for nature encompasses much more than that.

I’ve also had the privilege of being involved with various environmental NGOs in Slovakia, where I currently live.

Today, I continue to educate myself through self-study and exploration, and I enjoy sharing my research and resources here with you.

On a personal note, I’m also a mother, and I aim to raise my son as a naturalist. I believe there is no greater classroom than the natural world itself. There’s so much beauty and wonder in nature for children to experience, and I do my best to equip my son to appreciate and learn from it.

I’m also an avid traveler, having lived in three countries and visited more than 30. Nature has always guided my destinations, and the memories I cherish most are of discovering new species and witnessing landscapes I hadn’t seen before. I’ll be sharing some of these nature-focused travel experiences with you here as well.

My perspective on nature isn’t rooted in nostalgia, but rather in a forward-thinking, technological approach. I don’t believe we can halt the progress of technology in an attempt to return to some imaginary “golden age” when the planet was untouched and perfect. Instead, we must use technology to help create a better future. I’ll also be sharing the latest innovations and technologies that help us reconnect with and protect the Earth.

Learning about nature means stepping outside, getting our boots muddy, and truly immersing ourselves in the environment. But it also requires sharp eyes, careful attention to detail, and a scientific mindset—what I like to call “Muddy Boots, Tidy Loupes.” It’s a blend of hands-on exploration and meticulous observation.
